E-rate Program Services

• Determine the best SLD E-rate filing option to maximize funding requests.
• Review demographic data and analyze statistics for documentation.
• Review services/products included in the bidding/funding requests.
• Determine the SLD E-rate eligible and ineligible products/services.
• Evaluate bid documents and make recommendations for compliance.
• Assist with service provider management, including SPIN changes.
• Develop RFP to ensure E-rate program compliance for service provider bids.
• Monitor program updates and rule changes for FCC and SLD compliance.
• Act as FCC and SLD documentation and communications liaison.
• Provide telephone and email support/help desk.
• Review prior years E-Rate forms and documents for accuracy.
• Prepare FCC and SLD funding decision appeal letters.
• Assist with prior years SLD Program Integrity Assurance (PIA) selective reviews.

E-rate Forms and Document Services

• Compile required data for SLD E-rate documents and reports.
• Verify service providers for proper FCC Universal Service Fund certification.
• Determine additional information required from vendors for documentation.
• Electronically complete and submit Forms 470, 471, 486, and 472.
• Provide drafts of Forms 470, 471, 486, and 472 for approval prior to submitting.
• Assist in electronically completing forms certification pages and attachments.
• Generate required forms and documents for FCC and SLD compliance.
• Assemble and provide annual electronic records of required forms and documents for PIA reviews/selective audits.

Request for Proposal (RFP) Services

• Determine technology specifications based on procurement needs.
• Develop written RFP for Security Cameras, Phone Systems and more.
• Provide evaluation tools to determine the best price and quality of products.
• Review bids and give recommendations based on prior experience.
• Write School Board recommendations and newspaper advertisements.
• Assist with Michigan procurement laws to ensure compliance.
